3rd Grade Team
Getting to Know Me:I was born and raised in St. George Utah. My father taught band at Woodward (the 6th grade center) for many years and I would often help him correct papers and work at his school. I began to love teaching and have always loved working with children! As I worked at a daycare teaching preschool and then after opening my own preschool for a few years before going back to school to enter the education program. I earned my Bachelors in Education at Dixie State University and my Masters degree from Western Governors University. I love teaching third graders! These young people are at a really fun age and the classroom is always full of interesting ideas and conversations. I enjoy camping, swimming, and traveling with my family. Our goal is to visit all 50 states. We have 19 down, 31 more to go…

Getting to Know Me:I grew up here in Washington, Utah. My husband and I moved to Ogden, Utah where we attended Weber State University. After completing our generals, we moved back to St. George to attend Dixie State University. I graduated from DSU with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an ESL endorsement. This will be my third year teaching 3rd grade at Coral Canyon. Third graders have such fun personalities!
Getting to Know Me:I was born in Utah, but raised in various states across the United States. After all that traveling, living in southern Utah with my little family has been a dream come true! I met my husband at Lagoon while completing the Elementary Education program at Southern Utah University. We have a beautiful daughter and a son on the way. My family means the world to me. Most of my free time is spent going on adventures with them. I also enjoy art, photography, crocheting, being outdoors, and teaching. I especially love teaching third grade because it is such a fun age of inquisition and curiosity. One of my greatest passions is helping students recognize and obtain their potential through education.
