Presentation to the School Board
Some of our last year Student Council members presented to the Washington County School Board on September 11th about what makes Coral Canyon Elementary so amazing! A HUGE thanks to CJ Westhoff, Karlee Young, Makyia Mock, Jayden Madsen, and Isaac Wilcox. They wrote essays about why they love Coral Canyon and read them to the School Board. (Isaac Wilcox was not able to attend, so Mr. Richins read his essay.)

The Jones Family Band enjoys playing together! They have budding musicians typically beginning around age 5. Four of them have attended Coral Canyon Elementary. They reside in Leeds. Tiffany Jones (mom) wrote our school song!
4 Fathers started singing together after doing a show together. Three years have passed and hundreds have enjoyed their music. Patriotic, Oldies, and Christmas are just some of the genres they sing. Kirt Keeler, a previous teacher at Coral Canyon Elementary, is a member of 4 Fathers.
Bring your lawn chairs and your blankets and enjoy the evening with us!

Kindergarten Class Lists will be posted on Friday, August 17 by 9:00 a.m.
Your child must take the state assessment in order to be placed in a class. If you have NOT scheduled an assessment appointment, please contact the front office as soon as possible.

Safe Routing UPDATE to 2nd grade side of the building:
1st day of school for 1st through 5th grade students: Monday, August 13th from 9:00 – 3:30 p.m.
1st day of school for Kindergarten students: Monday, August 20th *please watch for your assigned time as this is an open house style first day
1st day of school for Preschool students: Tuesday, September 4th *please watch for your assigned AM or PM schedule

Teacher Presentation (individual classrooms)
*Teachers will be introducing themselves to students and parents. There are 2 separate teacher presentations during this time, so you do not have to try to get to all teachers during this time.
Please note this is NOT a time for individual meetings with your child’s teacher. If you have specific concerns, you will need to meet with the teacher at a separate time.

Schoolwide Video Presentation
(Parents and students remain in the classroom they are currently in to watch this.)
*This will be introductory information about our principal (Mrs. Eggleston), our counselor (Mr. Coulter), PTA, Title I, free/reduced lunches, STEM, our school resource officer, etc. This video is meant to give all of our parents and students a good overview of the school and present information about the first day of school.

Second Teacher Presentation (individual classrooms)
*If you have two or more children at the school, this is your opportunity to go visit another teacher. Classroom teachers will be repeating what they did at the first session today.
