Getting to Know Me: I was born in Murray, Utah. I was raised in the Salt Lake area until I was 12 years old and then I moved to Tennessee. There I graduated from high school and  college. I received my BS in Special Education from Middle Tennessee State University. I lived in the Nashville area for over 20 years and had my two amazing children. I taught 5 years in TN and 11 in Washington County Schools in Utah. I am excited to be a part of Coral Canyon Elementary and the amazing Staff.

Getting to Know Me: I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I also can be quite a “home body.” I love working with my students. They teach me and make me smile. I have two sayings I love by Dr. Seuss. “You’re never too old, too wacky, too wild to pick up a book and read to a child.” This one is to all my students. “Don’t give up I believe I believe in you all. a person’s a person no matter how small.”

Getting to Know Me:  I have lived in St. George for 37 years. I’m happily married for 40 years. I have 7 children and 19 grandchildren. I have worked in SPED for 23 years. I love working with the children!
  

Mrs. Swenson

Getting to Know Me:  I have worked with people of all ages with special needs since I was 15 years old. I have turned my passion into a career. I have been blessed to be able to stay home and raise my three children and yet still assist students in a school setting.  
 

Mrs. Neil

Getting to Know Me:  I have been married for ten years. My husband and I have twin 5 year old boys and a deaf foster daughter. I have been working with people with specials needs for 16 years. We live in and love Hurricane!

 

Mrs. Feliciano

Position: Special Education Para
Getting to Know Me:  I have been working with adults and children with disabilities for close to 35 years. I worked as a counselor for Multnomah County, Oregon for 17 years prior to moving to the bush of Alaska where I was a Special Education Teacher for close to 20 years. While living in Alaska, I also worked part-time as a counselor for women who suffered abuse and children from abused families as a missionary. After I retired, I moved to Utah with my fury, four-legged family. My hobbies are weaving, gardening, photography, and freelance writing. My favorite activity is studying the Bible and facilitating Bible Studies.

Getting to Know Me: I am from southern Utah. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Spanish at Brigham Young University and my master’s degree in communication disorders at the University of Utah. I served an LDS mission in Houston, Texas and learned to speak Spanish while living there. I have been married for 9 years and have two sons: a 6 year old and a 3 year old. I like sports, playing the guitar and hanging out with my family.

Getting to Know Me: I am from North Ogden, Utah, and just recently moved to St. George and Washington County School District. I graduated from Utah State University with my Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders, (Speech) in 2013. Since then, I have served an LDS mission, worked for Nebo School District as a Speech-Language Tech, and married my number one guy, Christian, in June of this year.

I love to spend time with my awesome family and friends, shop, go to concerts, and make/eat delicious food! 

I love all things speech/language therapy, and absolutely love my job. I get to work with awesome kids, and see so much progress in them. I’m excited to be here at Coral Canyon Elementary!
